Sanskrit manuscript of Patañjali's Yogasûtras
The images below are part of an ongoing experiment in providing
Web access to Sanskrit manuscripts. If you look at these images, or use

such images available in this way? Are the images too big, the wrong
resolution? The two pages are different sizes and resolutions: which do
you like best? Why? Should they be TIFF, JPEG, or some format other than
GIF? Need they be in colour: would black and white be adequate? And most
important, what use will you make of these images? Can you read them? Do
you want more? Which texts? Why?
Here is a manuscript of the Patañjali's Yogasûtras. It is from the [Wellcome Library for the History and Understanding of Medicine] and its shelf mark is MS Indic alpha 997. It is complete in eight folios.
