Selected Sanskrit MSS in the Wellcome Library, London

The [Wellcome Library] in London includes substantial collections of Asian books and manuscripts on all topics. These collections include over 6000 Sanskrit manuscripts, as well as manuscripts in Hindi, Persian, and many other languages of S. Asia.

To order copies of the Sanskrit manuscripts listed in volume I of the Library's Handlist (see below), follow the instructions on the [Wellcome Library's Procedures Page].

which gives brief descriptions of the 1000 manuscripts listed below. Volume 2 of the Handlist , also describing about 1000 manuscripts, was published in early 1998.
