Order Information

Check or money order should be made out to Engineering Deport, Inc. In US dollars and sent to:

Engineering Depot, Inc.
1000 North 4th Street, #1029
Fairfield, IA 52257
USA

Email: [cssetzer@mum.edu]

Important Note for those outside of the United States:
American banks do automatic deposit by computer and they must have a Federal Reserve Bank Computer Identifier printed on the bottom of the check to know where to send it for cashing. If there is no ID number, the bank has to send it back to the country of origin with fees ranging about US $30 to $40. My bank suggests that you go to a branch of an American bank and get them to issue a check or money order in US dollars cashable on a bank located in the US. There are banks such as Chase Manhattan, Citibank, American Express, etc. located in most large cities around the world. Another bank is ok if it can make a check payable on a bank located in the US and the check has the Federal ID number printed on the bottom of the check. Some banks also offer inexpensive electronic tranfer to US banks. If desire to do this, email to [cssetzer@mum.edu] for further information.

Single user, public user, and site license

Single user basically means that one person uses the software on one machine 90% of the time or more. If the software is strictly used by one person only, then it can be on as many machines as desired when used by that one person. For example, you may have a home computer, and a portable that only you use and an office machine that is used only when you are in the office and is used less than 10% of the time by colleagues or student's, etc.. That qualifies as a single license. If there is any possibility that two copies of the software will be used at the same time, you should purchase two copies. A public user is a machine that can be accessed by several people, such as in a library or a departmental computer room where there is opportunity for several people to use it on a regular basis. Site license is for any organization where there is opportunity for multiple people to use the software on multiple machines, all belonging to the same institution. This would include networked machines, or multiple independent machines. Site license is not intended to include private personal copies for institutional employees. It does include copies used in the institutional office for institutional work but using a computer privately owned by the user.

Vedatype and TextView, will be included on the literature CD as shareware. I will make a modest attempt to help you if you have trouble with installation or use, but do not have time for full support. Therefore, if you can get it to work on your system and intend to use it, you should pay the license fee, other wise not.
